Zambia Commerce Minister Mulenga Praises Jiangxi MFEZ
On November 1st , the Zambian Minister of Commerce Mr.Mulenga visited the Jiangxi Multi-facility Economic Zone.
Minister Mulenga expressed his appreciation for the progress made by the Zone during the past two years, in particular the fulfilment of its corporate social responsibility. He stressed that the New Dawn Administration attaches great importance to foreign investment and urged the Jiangxi MFEZ to bring some manufacturing industries from China to operate within the zone, which will add value to the raw materials and create a lot of jobs for local residents, and then Zambia's economic and social development will be promoted greatly. Regarding the difficulties faced by the zone, Minister said that the Ministry of Commerce and himself would liaise with relevant sectors to solve these problems, so as to create a sound and efficient business environment for investment and production activities.
Minister Mulenga and his delegation also visited the construction site and communicated industry plans of the Zone.
